ADB funded i roads project REHABILITATION/IMPROVEMENTS OF 104 KM OF RURAL ROADS IN THE KURUNEGALA DISTRICT - PACKAGE INCLUDING PERFORMANCE BASED MAINTENANCE FOR THREE OR MORE YEARS

• Directed and executed survey works for 104 km of rural road rehabilitation, including alignment, setting out, drainage, culverts, and pavement layers, while supervising three assistant surveyors and planning daily tasks to avoid project delays.
• Verified control points, benchmarks, and as-built surveys for road geometry and structures using GPS and Total Station, ensuring compliance with ADB standards and project specifications.
• Prepared survey documentation, coordinated with project manager, engineers, contractors, and local authorities, and supported performance-based maintenance surveys during the 3-year maintenance period.

LAYING DI/PVC PIPES FITTINGS, SPECIALS FOR TRANSMISSION AND DISTRIBUTION MAINS, AND CONSTRUCTION OF 1500CUM CAPACITY WATER TOWER IN THE MIWUNANGODA AREA

• Supervised and executed survey works for laying DI/PVC mains, including pipe fittings, specials, manholes, and utility crossings, while planning daily tasks to ensure timely progress.
• Established and maintained survey control and benchmarks for the 1500 m³ water tower, monitoring levels, alignment, and structural tolerances throughout construction.
• Collected survey data using GPS and Total Station, updated in GIS platform per NWSDB specifications, prepared as-built surveys, and coordinated with project manager, engineers and contractors to resolve discrepancies and maintain quality compliance.
